Valstybinė kainų ir energetikos kontrolės komisija (VKEKK) priėmė sprendimą UAB „Scener“ išduoti leidimą vykti nepriklausomo elektros energijos tiekimo veiklą. Anksčiau ši bendrovė veiklą vykdė kaip UAB „Baltic Energy Services“, licencija išduota 2007 m. gruodžio mėn. (nuo 2012 m. vasario mėn. vietoje licencijų šiai veiklai vykdyti išduodami leidimai). Nepriklausomų elektros energijos tiekėjų sąrašas skelbiamas VKEKK tinklapyje.
