Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius has extended his greetings to Bohuslav Sobotka, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and the people of the country over the celebration of the National Day.
“On behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania, I would like to extend to you the sincere congratulations on the occasion of the National Day of the Czech Republic. We highly appreciate the close dialogue with the Czech Republic over these years in developing our bilateral partnership and cooperation in the regional and international organizations. I believe that only by working together we will be able to contribute in a significant way to the creation of a successful and strong Europe that acts on the basis of solidarity in response to the current challenges”, reads the letter.
