Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis has extended greetings to Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and all the people of Luxembourg on the occasion of the National Day of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
“Our countries have enjoyed good relations marked by the longstanding friendly cooperation on the bilateral, European and the international levels. I have no doubts that the further collaboration between Lithuania and Luxembourg will successfully continue in the spirit of mutual understanding and trust, and Luxembourg will remain our very important partner in strengthening international peace and security. We appreciate your financial support to enhance our military capabilities and highly value the contribution of Luxembourg troops to the NATO Enhanced Forward Presence Multinational Battlegroup in Lithuania”, reads Prime Minister’s letter.
The Prime Minister concludes his letter by wishing the people of Luxembourg a joyous celebration and every success in the future.
